Robert Rosetta, president and
founder of AboutNewJersey.com,
started the Web site as a way to
showcase the many great things
that New Jersey has to offer for the
vacationer as well as the fellow
New Jerseyan. “I have been to 40
states and lived in six and I soon
discovered that people across the
country really had no idea what
New Jersey is like and often had a
very distorted view,” he explains. “Many people have no idea that
there is the magnificent Delaware
Water Gap or the huge, 1.1 million
acre pine forest in the south known
as the Pine Barrens. My goal
through this Web site has been to
show people the real New Jersey.”

Over the past three years, the
site has evolved to showcase the
great history, beaches, state parks,
and wildlife refuges located throughout
the state as well as the many
lodging and restaurants. AboutNewJersey.com is involved with all
six New Jersey tourism councils, a
board member of both the Shore
Region Tourism Council and the
Greater Atlantic City Tourism
Council, a member of the New
Jersey Travel Industry Association,
as well as on the Executive Steering
Committee for the New Jersey Hall
of Fame and Coordinating Group for
Celebrate NJ.
