(MLCVB) is the comprehensive
destination-marketing
channel for professionals conducting
business meetings, conventions,
or sales meetings in the metropolitan
New Jersey region. With

ecological, cultural, and

free through MRCC Venture 1, the
Meadowlands Regional Chamber
of Commerce’s exclusive Internet
provider. Participants in MRCC

positions and other benefits.

MLCVB is a great resource for
finding area accommodations. Our
staff works with the region’s
hotels and meeting facilities to
arrange housing and hospitality
services for group visitors. The
region’s hotel rooms and suites
are designed for the leisure and
business traveler. Business travelers will find high-speed Internet
access, business centers, and
plenty of meeting space to make
their time efficient and productive.
Numerous Events
MLCVB commissions several
special events throughout the year.
For instance, the organization has
been involved in the development
of MDEST, an annual trade-oriented
travel conference that welcomed
New Jersey Secretary of State
Nina Wells as its guest host last
year. MLCVB also has hosted
MeadowFest, a celebration of the
Hackensack River. This year’s festivals
will include the new MPOWER
Renewable Energy program.
Future events may include a
film festival and the World
Championship of Tailgating.

The Meadowlands Pocket
Guide is a handy, easy-to-use
guide with information about the
area, including hotels and conference
facilities as well as great outlet
shopping, restaurants, hotels,
museums, and the Meadowlands
Sports Complex. Distributed biannually
to more than 25,000 targeted
contacts, the guide also
provides Izod Center/Giants
Stadium maps, and New Jersey Transit rail system maps.
Informational Kiosks
Looking for instant information
at your fingertips? MLCVB now has
kiosks located in the 10 highest
trafficked travel areas in the destination,
including the Meadowlands
Racetrack, Secaucus Transfer,
Meadowlands Exposition Center,
the Meadowlands Environment
Center, and Liberty State Park. The
kiosks are touch screen driven and
feature information from the
MLCVB.
Travel Arrangement Advocacy
The Meadowlands Regional
Chamber of Commerce is known
as the voice of business in the area,
representing destination businesses
for 20 years. The CVB program
has allowed the MRCC to expand
its scope to include a platform for
advocating travel advancements in
its region and collaborating with the
Meadowlands Commission and the
Department of Travel and Tourism,
among others, for funding and institutional
support.
